I have been promptly charged for this plug however, have not even received it. Very poor service.

I purchased this item because I needed it to go with the 5.1 computer speakers I had just purchased from Amazon. Amazon will try to sell it to you as a “combo” with the Logitech 5.1 speakers – EVEN THOUGH IT ALREADY COMES WITH THE SPEAKERS.
My 1 star rating is not of the product, but to warn: BUYER BEWARE
It is $10 once you add on s&h, so keep your money if you are trying to buy it as a combo with the Logitech 5.1 speakers.
I am returning mine today.

K so I bought the Logitech x-530 5.1 speakers with full intent of having awesome surround sound on my xbox 360…problem: this adapter that came with the speakers DOES NOT give you full surround sound. If you already have it, you can know this by running a game’s surround sound test like the Halo 3 one, when the grunt says “speaker behind you over there” it is not solely coming from the back speakers, it still comes from the front speakers, and the center speaker does not get it’s dedicated Dialog channel.
It made me sad.

this is ok for the logitech z-5500 b/c it doesn’t come with this adapter. only thing i don’t like about this is compared to a coax or optical connection this adapter doesn’t keep up with the volume, example. if your tv doesn’t have optical out but stero out you use this connector and so if the volume needs to go higher you need to turn up the tv volume and the z-5500 volume, slightly annoying, but it works
