I have a Dell XPS M140 Laptop that is 4 yrs old. My battery started giving me warnings it was nearing the end of it’s useful life. I checked the Dell site and the cost was over 3 times what I paid here.
It was a snap literally to change it. Slide the button on the bottom the battery falls off click on the new one. You must charge it 24hrs before trying to use it. While my original battery would give me 6 hours on one charge I am getting about 3 hrs now. I am seeing that each time I use it all the way down and recharge which is now about 2 hours, then I get a few more min. each time. It looks exactly the same as the original.
And unlike the original has a 1 year warranty but you must keep the original box and packing. It is small so no biggie there, I hate keeping all these original boxes for returns but this one I will as I have not heard of a company covering a battery before.
Why pay more especially if you have an older laptop like me.
