This machine has two video output ports (one analog and one DVI), but it appears to be impossible to actually run 2 monitors simultaneously. One blogger called Acer tech support and got confirmation. If you have 2 monitors, or think you might ever, don’t buy this computer.

This computer is a piece of CRAP!!!! My husband purchased one and had to to exchange it the same day because it was not working. We got another one then two weeks later we had to return it because the computer broke down. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP!!!! There is a reason why it is so cheap!!!!

Acer has to be the WORST brand ever. If Goldstar made computers, they would probably be better. I actually created restore disks only to not have them work when I needed them. I would steer clear of this crappy Chinese/Taiwanese crappity crap crap. And -that’s- the poop on this company!

Before you buy this item, you should know that it comes without any software or restore CDs. You are required to create your own. However, if something does not work, you are on your own. I could not burn the restore CDs. No more support! I had to purchase restore CDs for 20 bugs that have been charged to the credit card but never came. ACER customer support sends auto-response emails on how to burn CDs yourself, no further support. I have spent money and a month of time now on getting a PC to run – it still does not. Very frustrating!

Purchased this computer in February 2009. 5/9/09 froze up completely. Won’t load operating system; won’t operate keyboard/mouse; have to hard boot into Safe Mode which also freezes up. I’ve contacted Acer for a refund, but in the meantime, avoid this model like the plague! There are numerous computers – THIS model – being sold on a large online auction site as “broken, won’t load”. I wish so much I’d read some more reviews before buying mine.
I won’t condemn all Acer products, but as this is my first – it is now my only. Go with a well-known brand that is fully supported by both the retailer and the manufacturer.
