Battery works fine sure… but that doesnt change the fact that dell designed latops with batteries that last less then 2 hours… if you really want to see amazing performance in a dell laptop battery then maybe buying another pc and pealing the name of and then writing dell on the pc might help, but until then the battery replacements are only as good as the pc manufactuer allows and in my opinion the manufacturer isn’t allowing much.

The shipped the wrong battery. I an RMI number and address for returning the power supply. They received it on Jan 31 (today is Feb 16). After they received the return the went int silence mode. As soon as I finish this review I’m going to file a compliant with Amazon.Avoid this seller like the plague

I was thrilled when I got the battery. It had the Dell brand on it. It held a charge for hours. And then, 3 months after I got it, it started to do funny things. The battery gauge stopped giving accurate readings. The battery now seems to only hold 50% of its charge. And it looks like I’ll need to buy a new one soon. Definitely NOT worth saving a few dollars for a battery that only lasts 3 months.
Update December 21: I originally gave this 1 star. But the customer service for this company is fantastic. Super responsive. I sent back the defective battery and they sent me a new one. I give them 5 stars for customer service. And if the new battery works fine, I will update my rating from 3 stars to 4 or 5 stars. As a client once told me, people who buy a product and like it are fans. People who buy a product, they have a problem but then have an incredible customer service experience are fans for life.
Update December 23: The new battery arrived and so far it is great. Fantastic customer service. Upgraded to 4 stars.

The battery we ordered is a wrong type although it shows as the same as Dell’s. The service is excellent. They refunded our money within two days after they received the battery I sent back.

The battery only last for two weeks of normal use.. most of the time connected to power, I dont recommend you to buy this , it’s better try original from dell
