The interface for this product is truly dreadful. You can often get stuck i na mode without any escape other than powering off.
The wireless connection never worked right. The only time it performed satisfactorily was when I had all security turned off. Once i password protected it, no trick could get the unit to receive the signal.
Finally, it would not accept input from my iPod.

I’m interested on this product but after reading customers’ reviews I learned that we cannot add another station. This is not nice because the purpose of getting the Aluratek Internet Radio is to listen Internet radio stations ANYWHERE, something hard to do with a PC and in certain ways, with a laptop.
I contacted Customer Support inquiring about this issue and waht I got was the following, “You need to go to http://www.Vtuner.com and suggest what station you need to be added. Also, Real Audio don’t work for the wifi radio, so make sure the station is part of Vtuner”.
Now we have ANOTHER downside, if one of your favorite stations is streamed through Real Audio, you cannot add it nor listen it at all.
On top of that, it has a USB 2.0 connectivity but NOT A LINE IN JACK. This means that you cannot plug your MP3 player, Portable CD player or any other device to the Aluratek Internet Radio.
The purpose of my comments is to let you know the downside of the device but if this is not important to you, the Aluratek is a real wonder.
Let me think about it a little more but I believe that I can live without this issues and just take it out from my Wish List and buy it.

Way too complicated. Not user-friendly at all. I was never able to get this to work at all. Not even for FM stations. Returned it after a frustrating few days.

This Internet radio have all the features I need. It is multimediaplayer in one plus audio outputs and inputs. Everything works but connectivity with PC I have not tryed yet. Internet radio is in use every day and it works fine as a wired client (connected to internet connection by RJ45 network cable).
I woukld give it 5 stars with no problem but I must be cautios because this unit is produced in China. Hope it works fine in coming years.
I recomend this product. I am satisfied with it completely!

Very easy to get going and then easy access to radio stations worldwide… much better than short wave
