I bought three for my Coolermaster gaming case. Although I think this fan would make a great replacement for any 120mm pc fan. They work nicely and the LEDs are strong enough to create a nice glow without blinding you or being too dim.
They are very quiet on the slowest speed, not very noticeable on the medium speed and slightly noticeable on the high speed. All you will hear is a low rush of air, no high-pitched whining. Since I only use the high speed when I’ll be gaming for long periods of time, this isn’t a problem. I like to hear my fans anyway as it’s a good indicator of how cool my case is running.
The 3-speed switch is great for setting your own airflow conditions in the case.
Only one problem…one of the three fans runs very slow now. Don’t know why. If I set the fan to the slowest speed, it now shuts off sometimes. When I set it at the highest speed, it runs slow. All three fans are a year old and run around 12 hours a day.
I feel that a few extra dollars for this fan is worth it for the handy switch, good airflow, low noise and good looks.

I bought this a replacement for a fan in my antec case, but there where some differences from the original case fan.
1) The blades are clear rather than black which makes the LED effect brighter than the fan directly above it.
2) The wire for the speed switch is only about 3 to 4 inches long as opposed to the original fan where the wire was about 8 inches. A big difference for accessing the switch after the installation. I thought seriously about splicing the wire, but decided that I always leave it on low anyway.
Neither are deal breakers, but I know it’s the kind of thing that will drive some people around the bend and should know them ahead of time. The fan itself: no problems

This fan is great. Lights are still going! The only thing bad I could say about this product is that it’s really loud on the HIGH setting. Other than that it’s great. I keep mine on MED. I hate hearing that whine when I’m playing games.
