Not sure what good a portable tv is these days since the USA just went digital. You are not gonna get a picture…..

I am usually aware of fine print and read all available info on a product before buying.
I did that with this tv as well since I need a digital to get local storm, damage info.
Not only does this one last a mere 100 mins. [if that] but the battery is built in which means after 90 mins or so of a power outage, it fails to even qualify as a paperweight.
I reread the Amazon add. They did not make any false statements but they sure avoided mentioning that there is no way to power this “portable” without an permanent electrical source. Legally you can call it a portable so no crime, I guess. But omitting facts is a type of deception.
Be wary of any Amazon sold portable tv which also fails to mention if it has replaceable batteries
Buy one which has replaceable batteries. Stay away from this one if you need a reliable source for info after a power outage.
The positive note is that they supply av cables, an exterior antenna with adaptor and a cute little remote. Of course they are all useless after 90 mins.
Fortunately the charger seems to be inoperable so I have a valid reason to return it and try to get my money back. Wish me luck.

A big waste of $149.00, internal and external antena, and I cant pick up one channel no matter where I am. It now sits in the drawer taking up room. I doubt I would ever order from Amazon again. This is just crap. How can such items be put on the market today. I might mention we actually purchased three, (different friends). And same problems, no reception. Total waste !!

It worked pretty good indoors, but then when I took it with me in the car, where it will be used most, it hardly worked with either antenna. I returned it in search of another.
