I am happy with this product very much, it does its job. Only down side is that I did not read what iPods the cable it comes with works for. Make sure you read this list if you really need the cable. also the cable it comes with is only for charging and is NOT a date cable.(I don’t think it lists this fact) I just use my date cable to plug it in to this and it works great!

This works as a charger but has a couple of flaws. First, it doesn’t work to sync my phone. It charges via AC or via USB but I cannot get it to sync.
Second, the blue LED light on the charger is very irritating in the dark. I had to put black electrical tape over it so it didn’t keep me awake at night.
On the positive side, it’s relatively inexpensive and has a much longer cord than the one that comes wit the iphone.

The charger works well, but I downgraded it because
1) when I plug it in it emits a bright blue light that is way too bright in a hotel room. I wasn’t looking for a night light!
2) the charger came with a detachable USB to iPOD cable. I didn’t need another of those!

It works fine for any other ipods but I bought this looking for something to work with a 3G iPod classic and it doesn’t work for that. I think 3G iPod classics only charge via firewire.

Works perfectly. Only problem is the bright blue light. It is difficult to sleep with it charging.
