I bought this item because my new PC dint have a DB25 game port, if you are running windows XP it will not recongcide the divice, so it will be worthless.

I could not get this product to work. I think it needs some sofware to work. Don’t buy if you don’t know if it will work.

Device itself is well made. However, it does not do as I expected, i.e., convert MS Force Feedback Joystick to USB for XP Pro. And neither, by the way, does the twice as expensive one from Radio Shack.

When I bought a new PC I realized that none of my old game controllers would work on it. Now thanks to this adapter I don’t have to replace all of them. Great item and even greater price. The local electronics store wanted over $30.00 for the same thing.

It claims to work for the MS Sidewinder, but when I tried to use it, my computer sees it as an “unrecognized USB device.” Spend your money elsewhere, and don’t waste it on this useless product. If I could give it zero stars, I would.
