I purchased these to use at a campsite that we have. They are great, sturdy little speakers.

Bought these speakers for outside based on several reviews from Amazon and ecoustic. I have them connected to a Onkyo Tx-sr705(also bought from Amazon) and set to zone2. I bought a pair of inexpensive swivel mounts from Frys,no need to buy the overpriced ones. They sound great for their size and can handle the power easily. Don’t let their price fool you, you are getting great speakers at half the price of other “name brand” speakers.

We auditioned 5 different speakers before we decided on the BIC. These included Boston Acoustics and Klipsch outdoor speakers. Although these were the least expensive BY FAR, they tied for best sound quality. We are planning to buy 3 more sets this summer !

I use four of these in a 7.1 surround sound for the surrounds, they sound really good, and it’s very easy to mount them on the wall, I used to have them mounted so they were tilted down at the listening room, but I tried mounting them straight out into the room and I get a much more spacious surround effect that way, I also use the BIC DV52CLR for left, right, and center and the whole system sound very very good, my only weak spot is probably the Infinity sub I’m using, its not bad just want a little more bottom end, it’s only an 8 inch woofer, but the BIC are terrific value in my opinion, not the best but at this price you cant beat them.

I had a pair of Adatto speakers mounted outdoors, under the eaves facing my back desk and hot tub, for over six years in a climate the freezes, bakes, rains, you name it. They played often, loud and well. I just sold the house, leaving the speakers mounted, and so just bought another pair for the new house. They do not have deep bass, but from the lower midrange to the top end I can’t imagine there’s anything better for the price.
