It begins when I order one of these online. I wait a week, get the box and find no instructions in the box. I call Bissell. They waste my time for 10 minutes. I get nowhere. I call the store where I bought it. They say print it from the internet. My printer is packed for my move. ( The reason I needed the carpet cleaner) I call Bissell again. They promise the book in 2 to 3 weeks. Didn’t get a chance to use it but it stinks already. Its going back to the store and I’ll buy the Rug Doctor. So much for my $18.00 shipping surcharge.

This product is horribly designed. The water reservoir at the base of the machine causes all sorts of nightmares. This “thing” cannot be rolled around or lifted without supporting the base(which is covered in all sorts of nasty). You have to carry it from the base or it falls apart, and boy you don’t want to know what it’s like to clean up after it does. Most regret I have ever had about a purchase of ANYTHING. The guy who talked me into buying this thing has a special place in hell.

The 9500 is worth more than I paid at Amazon which had the lowest price and it was delivered for free it seemed almost over night,I am very happy with Both Bissell and Amazon.

Well, after all the raving reviews on this product over other models, I decided this would be a good investment for us. I put it together as instructed and was excited to use it in my daughters room for my first run. LMAO…YEA, never even got close, I vacuumed her room very aggressively ( I want my investment to last right) LMAO some more…I didn’t even get the machine out of my mud room. As I filled up the Bladder it completely melted and deteriorated! Now I will accept that possibly, my tap water runs a little hotter than most. But come on! It is still only hot tap water! That is just ridiculous to me. Get real. So now Im frusterated, as I have already pretreated many, many spots in her room and had to go back and hand scrub and clean them because my $300 machine has bladder problems already!!! PRIOR TO THE FIRST USE EVEN!!
Ok. So realistically, I will give Bissel the benefit of the doubt and called to get a new one (maybe it was just faulty). Hahaha, This led to another fun encounter. The woman was nice and all, sending out a replacement Bladder (7-10 business days) which is another annoyance to have to wait. She asks if I have any questions or if she can help me with anything else and I ask her “Is there a max. temp. for the machine, or if this issue is occurring often with my Model” Her answer, and i quote ” your replacement part should arrive within 7-10 business days” lol I said: so your just an answering service and are not equipped to answer that question or….. She takes a long awkward pause and she finally informs me that they test all the products before they sell them. ~Theres a straight forward answer for ya huh! I just laughed and said, ok Ill expect my bladder in 7-10 business days and ended the call. I pray, that it was just a defective bladder and i don’t have any more issues with the machine, leading to more issues with possibly moronic customer service reps.. The negative reviews now have got me a little uneasy about this. Either way though, I will be posting again with an actual performance review once I can get it running!
