Product arrived in a timely manner and was as described. This filter has been unavailable for several months; and I was very happy to find that it was available on the Amazon website.

We've only had this unit for a few days, but are quite happy with it. We have replaced a 10-year-old unit which my wife loved. But this B&D is lighter, quieter, and seems to work better than the old one; it has plenty of suction for the jobs we've reserved for a hand-held like this. Because its nose is smaller, it is easier to get into normal spaces, and the slide-out 'snout' makes tight spaces a snap.

Opening it to empty the cup also seems quite smooth.

I am particularly pleased: When she decided to tackle a spill right behind me as I am reading the paper, the unit doesn't sound like an MD-80 in distress.
