Looks good, plugged it in, doesn't show up on the desktop. Plugged it into another computer. I hear a constant clicking in the unit , like it's trying to access something, but can't. Same sound as if your computer is trying to load a CD/DVD, but is not able to. So this thing is dead on arrival. I must have purchased at least 30 external hard drives in my life, and they all worked. I purchased mostly the LaCie models, never had any problems. This on is dead on arrival. Looks stylish, but not worth a cent. This only happens to me once, I will return it and will never buy anything from this company again. Received the item today.
