My wired router came with a Cat 5 cable. Why can’t companies use better wire like Cat 5e cable. So I changed the Cat 5 to a Cat 6. The price is cheap, so why not.

What can I say? For a CAT6 cable (as opposed to CAT5) it’s inexpensive and it works. The rubber shield over the plastic release serves it’s purpose but still allows for easy removal from a device.
