I was hoping this would be a great enhancement to my iPod until I received it and plugged it in. No sound! It’s got no speakers yet blocks the sound from your iPod! What is the use of a mic if all you can do is record but not monitor what you have recorded? I sent it back very fast.

Looks cute and fits the pod but this will not work on my original itouch using any of a variety of apps. It would be good to have this identified more clearly in the description. Now I just have a big brown pill that does nothing.

The advertisement indicated that this would work, but it didn’t. I think it was missing software.

the shipping was lightning fast. less than 4 days.
however, the mic isn’t working on my video ipod 80gb. supposed it worked with ipod classic…
and my software is running 1.3 .
i plugged the mic in, and awaiting the voice memo menu to pop up to start the recording but nada.

I bought this few weeks back, its alright. When I listen to the recordings it has some tick tick noise inserted between my recordings. I wonder if this will work on my macbook laptop?
