I doubt that the ink cartridges were bad. I think it’s the printer because I have one that someone bought for me and it continually runs out of ink after 5-6 runs. Also, the reviews for this printer weren’t great. I could be wrong though. Hope this helps.

I have tried (without success) to find descent refurbished ink cartridges..This is the one.
Please notice the instructions..They tell you what to do when your printer tells you the ink is low..
Ignore this..It will work just fine.Great product for the price.

I have tried recycled cartridges on my Canon Pixma MX310 and the printer totally refused them. I think Canon has got this all worked out. It’s buy their original cartridges or nothing. This is how they are making money….not on the printer but on their ink cartridges.

These cartridges fit in my Canon MP210, but after about 10 print jobs the printer insisted they were empty and needed replacement. Even when I troubleshooted the printer and pressed the “force print” button, the printer wouldn’t work with them. I’d go for [...] if you want recycles print cartridges. I’ve never had a problem with their cartridges.

I am a contractor paralegal and use a LOT of ink. I have a laserjet as well as my Canon Pixma. Ink and toner can get pretty expensive so I tried the “compatible” option for my Canon inkjet. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Every time I print, I get an error message stating I am completely out of ink and have to override the error manually on my actual printer. My sanity is NOT worth the so called savings by using a “compatible” or “refurbished” cartridge.
Just bite the bullet and get the REAL DEAL!
