I tried some non-OEM printer inks. However, I just envied to have tried it… An OEM supply is the best choice for its product.

I will try to clarify some of the issues about this product. As some have mentioned, the Canon product number in the Amazon description is not correct. They ought to change it. Here is the accurate information:
Canon PGI-9 and PGI-7 5 Color Ink Value Pack: Canon product code 1034B010
Canon PGI-5BK Twin Pack: Canon product code 0628B009
I first ordered this through PlexSupply since they had a great price. They were selling the PGI-5BK value pack. So I am in the process of returning the pack to them. They were apologetic and offered to have the incorrect shipment picked up at which time they said they will issue a fulll refund. Hopefully this will occur… (Note – PlexSupply no longer appears as a provider for this product.)
I then ordered this product from Amazon. The PGI-9/PGI-7 value pack came. So Amazon ships the product consistent with the word part of the product description and not the Canon product code that Amazon incorrectly includes in the description.
The product is excellent. The MX7600 multifunction printer that uses this ink produces outstanding images even in the “fast” or draft mode of printing.
I have seen other inaccuracies with Amazon’s ink compatibility advisor. I have stopped relying upon it. The manufacturer’s website can provide reliable advice on compatibility. So can the owners material that comes with the printer. Then come back to Amazon to place the order.

Amazon’s website listed this ink as working with the Canon MX700 but this ink does not fit that printer. I’m sure the ink is fine when used in the appropriate printer (MX7600).
The price has doubled since I made my purchase just last month!

I saw the first review about the incorrect item description and called amazon, they would not do anything. I then ordered the item and then emailed then telling them that the 0628B009 is for a 2pack PGI-5 Black, they still have not fixed the description. I have received the Value Pack and I got what was pictured the Canon PGI-9 and PGI-7 5 Color Ink Value Pack, the colors are 14ml (+/-) and or same as a regular cartridge that I bought before (I looked at my old cartridges, don’t remember exact ml). I am very happy with my order that I got the 5 Cartridges. Sold seperately for $12-$17 (+/-). This is for MX7600. That is what I have. I hope this has been helpful.
