I use this is conjunction with a cradle/charger/FM Transmitter(not bad but some static) by Belkin to listen to my Zune 30 in my car. It was cheap, but works perfectly and sounds excellent.

I looked at other car adapters, I’ve had radio transmitters, I’ve made CD’s…. Nothing compares to this. This is truly the best option.
Radio transmitters: Need I go on past interference?
Cd’s: Even when you have a 6-disc Cd Player, you’re still limited in selection.
Other cassette player adapters… cost more money.
This cassette adapter.. perfect.
-Inexpensive, you can pay twice as much for the same thing.
-Great sound quality, Matches CD quality and beats the crap out of the radio.
I have a Zune 30Gb and this works perfectly. I can listen to my large song library randomly, and have no idea what song might be next because I am not limited to what is on the CD. The sound quality is superb and is only limited by the sound system in your car.
Add in the car charger for my Zune, I have no other way to describe it than perfect.

Immediately it created that crackly noise that you get with old headphones…and the sound quality is terrible. Sounds like it’s in a muffled tin can. There are better adapters out there. Keep on looking because this one isn’t worth it at all!!

I tried the FM transmitter type car adapter for my ipod, but I’ve never had much success with that type. This cassette adapter fits right into the ipod audio output (so ipod type does not matter). Once I plugged it in and played it, it sounded great, even though my car is relatively old with a stock sound system. Basically, this product does exactly what it needs to do, and it does it well.

I ordered this item so that I could listen to my MP3 player in the car. I’d tried an FM adapter, but it doesn’t work well living in the city. Unfortunately this adapter does not work at all. I tried it several time and all it does is make a buzzing noise. I am getting rid of it.
