I bought 2 of these cases in different patterns, 1 for me and 1 for my husband. I thought this case is a bit bulky considering it really only holds my kindle in the bigger zipper. The front smaller pouch holds a cell phone or IDs/credit cards, but due to the fact the pouch is directly above the kindle screen, I’m afraid to put anything else there. My advice, look at the prices for different patterns as they can be different in price.

This was perfect for my Kindle, there is a seperate zipper around compartment to hold the charger and the kindle stays snug in place in a foam padding. I was very very pleased with the price and this product. God for bid if by accident my kindle falls to the floor I believe that this case will protect it from any damage.

The case pictured is not what you get
What I ordered:
Specifically designed for Kindle 2
Premium Quality Shock Absorbing Double Foam Pouch
Water resistant, Zipper Scratch-Free
Light and slim compact design
Internal supporting bands
inside pocket
Faux soft leather exterior look
What I got:
Definitely not double memory foam… More like 1/4 inch of plain foam and I think that is being generous. Think the case altogether is about 3/4 of an inch thick.
Exterior is not smooth vinyl or soft and leather like. Its made of a polyester woven type stuff with a pocket on the outside.
No interior pocket at all, which is good in this case considering there is barely enough room for the kindle itself. Doesnt appear to give much protection if there is something in the outside pocket and someone sets something on top of the case…. kindle would be cooked im sure. I bought these kindles for my kids so this case is just not going to work…. beware, your not getting what your seeing in the picture.

I bought this case to keep my kindle from getting scratched and damaged. I’m a full time college student and use my kindle not only for recreational reading but also i have some of my textbooks dled onto it.
This is the best case of the kindle. It is well padded, and keeps the kindle secure and damage free. The zippered pouch on the front is where i keep my charge cord. I keep my kindle in the case as I just swing the front cover behind the back of the kindle case.
With being thrown around in a bookbag filled with textbooks and supplies, my kindle stays nice and damage free.

I did a lot of research when buying my Kindle 2 and chose this case, along with a skin (which has yet to arrive). So far, I’m very pleased. Having a closed case was a necessity for me. The zippers work well and smoothly, with no “catch”. The memory foam is as described and seems sturdy. The case itself is just right in weight, not too heavy or cumbersome, nor too flimsy and light. The pocket is just right for the cord and a couple other small items. The two upper plastic corner straps are nice and snug and the bottom two elastic straps are firm enough to do the intended job. It looks nice and will be easy to keep clean. It provides more than enough protection for my new Kindle.
I have been unzipping the case and folding the front of it back, leaving my Kindle inside for reading. This has worked very well for me and the cushion of the foam on the back has been easy on my fingers. This was something I had not even thought about until I started using it. It actually feels quite nice on slightly arthirtic fingers. For under $25, this was the best bang for my buck and I’m glad I went with this item.
