Printer cassettes for the handy Casio optical media labeler are hard to find on foot. The printer is useless without them. The cassettes and printer function well. The availbility of the printer cassettes at [...] makes it convenient to use this device to label optical media with a myriad of labeling options.

I guess my turn is up….meaning I have fallen in the not so happy category this time. 5 calls (3 unanswered) and 3 weeks later I received the item. The item is great, Casio makes a good product. I was looking for best price and forgot about what all comes with (sometimes) best prices. Wishing you a better experience with this vendor, if you choose to buy here. As for myself, I will pay a little more, elsewhere, next time.

We did have some problems getting this thing set up. It will not work connected to a usb hub. It also will not work if it is hooked up to a front of side usb port. It must be connected to a “main” usb port in the back of the computer. So it did not work with the available ports on the laptop, but did work very well connected to the rear usb port on desk top tower.
As for the printer itself. It prints very well, crisp and clear. Once it is set up it is pretty simple and user friendly. The software is easy to install and use. We are quite pleased with the print quality and ease of use. It does seem to print on just about any cd-rom surface. We have printed a few different sufaces and I think it works best on those that have a “frosted” looking front to them.

Can’t beat the original manufacturer’s ribbons. Too bad the printer wastes so much of it when it prints.

bought the printer at Office Max who then promplty stoped selling it or the ribbons. Found these and they are working perfect.
