I was somewhat less than pleased with the Click Free. It did a great job on my notebook which had VISTA OS. It would not complete a backup at all on a XL desktop after the Click Free did an automatic upgrade. It has previously worked on the XL machine I could not get the click free to work on desktops which had 2000 OS.

This product worked EXACTLY as advertised. It is cheap, uncomplicated and effective, the very definition of elegant. I needed a simple, no nonsense backup solution – the online variety was unreliable and requires a subscription which is of course what those services are selling. This item will pay for itself in 12 months. Now I just plug it in every morning and go to work. I unplug it when I get home. No tedious pointing and clicking and it gets the job done. Just keep in mind this is a MANUAL solution. Also it overwrites any previous backup (for files that have changed) so if you need to keep snapshots of your file systems from several days or weeks this won’t be adequate. Since it can backup up to 10 PCs though you probably could change the PC name for several backups and keep older file saves from the same PC under different names. In fact I would think they would enhance the software to allow that but then it wouldn’t be ‘Click Free’.

This item was very simple to use and downloaded very fast. I now feel much
safer knowing everything is now backed up and safe. All my music and photographs etc.
The company is EXCELLENT. The item was supposed to have been delivered however I did not “receive” it. After a period of disappointment in receiving “auto”replies that did not address the problem properly, Amazon put me in touch with an individual and with just one note, he agreed to mail another Click Free and I received it in the time specified.
GREAT DEALER!
I WOULD NOT HESITATE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALER AGAIN.
They reacted promptly to my problem and went above what I expected in service.

When my disc drive was broken and I couldn’t back-up my info I was able to use the Click-Free to save the info when my computer was in for repair
