The Cooler Master 120mm Red LED Case Fan is a great case fan but do not buy this fan for the LED lights since they are not the best at all. On the other hand it’s a very low sound fan, and keeps my case very cool.

I bought these fans to go with my Cooler master Scout case. They are acutally pretty quiet and are not that bright. If you are looking for bright led case fans then look elsewhere, but the cfm are worth it.

Mine are running at 1800 rpm and are very noisy. My GPU’s are running 3 degrees cooler but I’m not sure if it’s worth it for the noise. I’m trying to slow them down but my EVGA X58 mobo doesn’t seem to be able to control it below 100% output. So at 50% output I might only get a degree or two of cooling on the GPU’s. I have yet to try to tap these into the chassis power to see what RPM they run at. Right now they are plugged into the motherboard. I do like the red LED lights though. I would rate these a star or two higher if I could get the to work properly, which is more because of the mobo I’m sure.

This fans are great performers and they are worth every penny. I certainly love the finish of the fans.

I recently built a new system and decided to install this fan as backup/additional cooling. The fan itself works great, but know this, IT IS LOUD, and don’t even try to use the supplied screws, they strip easily and are hard to get in/out. There’s no thread in the screw fittings on the fan, you have to literally make your own by forcing the screw in with a screw driver. I’ve tried using diff. screws with nuts to see if this would take some of the noise away (thinking it could be vibration), but so far no luck, I have it unplugged at the moment. It’s a good think it was only 10 bucks.
