This product is excellent, not only it looks amazing but it works above expectations. My CPU temperature dropped 20°C with the fan speed control set to low.
Anyways I gave it 4 stars because the installation for the LG1366 is a little tricky. The included screws for the brackets didn’t fit as mentioned in the install instructions, is like they were a little thicker than they were supose to fit the brackets.
After a battle with a screwdriver and the brackets I acomplished the installation of the base screws and from that point on everything was perfect.
I Higly recommend this product but be aware if you have a LG1366 socket.

I was in the market for a fan for my computer since I don’t really feel like messing with liquid cooling right now. I was fortunate to come across this while looking for computer parts for my new build. This includes the kit for the 1366 motherboard and I am the owner of the Intel X58SO. I had read around the web that you have to buy the 1366 kit separately but all you have to do is look for the three pieces in the little bracket box labeled 1366 and that’s it. You have to take the motherboard off so if you are building a new computer keep that in mind so you’re not like me and have to take everything out just to get to it. My case will not allow me to slip the motherboard out easily so that was my minor hassle not the fans fault. Keep in mind also this fan goes directly on the processor and maybe do some research on your part and make sure you can do what needs to be done to get it in. I have an Antec 900 which is a mid size case so everything fit in nicely even though this thing is almost touching the edge of the inside of the case. There was a considerable temperature drop and the this thing is almost whisper quiet even at full speed. I am not to much on having the fan control on the back of the case but no biggie there. I was also afraid this thing would be heavy and worried me that if I moved my case a chunk of my motherboard would break off but overall the weight isn’t really what you think it would be. Make sure you pay close attention to the directions along with taking your time and everything will be fine. The hardest part was pretty much just taking the board out and other than its size being a factor for some people I have no complaints here.

Built awesome, looks like a V8 engine, and keeps my core i7 running at 32 degrees or under, even when in After Effects.

This Thing is HUGGGGGGEE Bigger than any thing in your PC I was afraid the case cover won’t close but it did thank god..
The only problem that it requires to much reading on how to place it, so hard so many stuff to put together, so if you’re not a PRO like me take it to someone to do it for you because I was going crazy i didn’t know how to place this thing it comes with like a million small metal pieces which you have to put together to form a base and then you have to know what type of mother bored and processor to use the right pieces and it comes with a paste which i don’t know where to put it the instructions on how to use it and place it is very poor. So if you’re and amateur please take it to someone who knows what he’s doing but from the feel of this thing just holding it feels very cold and very big it looks awesome like a machine but to use it and figure out how to it’s nearly immposible guys..
P.S. it may be the easiest cooling system to place but if you want a water cooling system you will never do it on your own at least this is a fan and needs some reading and retries but the water system may spell liquid on your pc parts so this thing is the most easy way to cool your cpu..

It’s huge, barely fits my case, but it’s really silent and powerful.
If you have space in your case I recommend it.
