Muy buena presentacion, los cable a pesar de ser demasiados se manejan facilmene por esta cubierto con una malla flexible, conectores para todo, muy silenciosa… tremenda fuente por su precio…

Bought one of these, and then ended up returning it very quickly after receiving it, because the SATA drive cables are too short. So, I can’t attest to how well it runs, because I never got as far as actually using it.
More specifically, there is very little cable length between the power supply and the first SATA connector on each of the SATA cables. The lengths of the other cables were just fine, but given that there are 8 SATA power connectors to accommodate someone with a lot of drives, I would have thought they would want to give a little bit of length to those cables.

I just decided to order this PSU for my new rig. It works pretty well. My only problem is that the power leads become a bit messy, like most if not all non-modular PSUs. I knew that before I bought it. =D

I purchased this to replace a 610w (49A, 12V single rail) PC Power & Cooling Silencer, with this power supply (70A, 12V single rail). The system has a Core i7 920 and dual 4870 1GB video cards and was maxing my old 610w pretty severely, as it was very loud when doing anything taxing. However, the 610w, although loud, would run 24/7/365 under full load without issues.
This better (on paper at least) 850w power supply died after ~3 hours at 100% load (used OCCT to test it). The Corsair 850w seemed to run the system well at first, but I think the fan doesn’t spin up enough to properly cool the power supply when large amounts of current are required.
I expected more from this unit for sure given the specs and 5-year warranty. To be fair, it could have been just a bad egg out of the box, but I’m not taking any chances. An extra $60 to get a PC Power & Cooling Silencer 910w, spread out over the course of at least 5-years, seems worth the premium to me.
I gave it two stars because at least the internal circuit protection did not take any other computer components to the grave along with the power supply.

I bought this power supply for my first built PC, it is up and running for couple of weeks now, so keep in mind that these are my impressions.
Package: Well done, product came protected.
Parts: Came with everything one needs to install the PSU. Screws, cable holders for cable management and so on. Conectors are compatible with both SATA drives as well as the old fashined 4 pin conectors. Same for the GPU and for the MoBo conectors.
Built quality: Solid. The cables have an external protection that prevents any cuts to their insulation, conectors are not built from cheap flimsy plastic, the fan is very quiet. The power supply is heavy, which may be a drawback if one wants to install it in the upper section of the pc case.
The unit runs without any hums eventhough I had my pc running with the side pannel open while I was making sure I had everything in the correct place. This PSU was probably an overkill for my machine (so far a single Gforce 285 GPU with a single 7500 rpm harddrive and an intel i7 processor) so I wasn’t expecting humming anyway.
