I noticed a fairly decent increase in gaming performance when I upgraded from 1gb to 3gb of ram. As far as normal day to day use (like MS Office, e-mail, and surfing the web) I saw little to no gains in performance. I can have a few apps open, and it’s as if I was still running on 1gb of ram.
So, I paid ~$50 for a boost to gaming. It’s nice that my games run better, but I expected more from the additional 2gb of ram (for a total of 3gb).

Good product from Crucial, have used them the last two RAM upgrades. Glad to see Amazon was carrying it. Installed and running with no problems on my 2004 Dell XPS.

I’ve tried different types of ram before and this ram installed great, worked great and I haven’t had any problems… So I recommend it 8c)

Great price on this memory, about half the price of other brands. Increased the memory to 2GB from 128MB, so there was a great performance improvement as well on a 4-year old PC. No problems with quality so far..
