No problems with this, the latest of several Crucial RAM modules I’ve bought over the years. As another reviewer pointed out, check Crucial’s “configurator” to be sure new RAM is fully compatible with your machine. Also, in general be careful to touch metal and discharge static before fiddling with your computer’s electronic components.

This product is exactly what I ordered and has increased the performance of my computer to the extent that I do not need to replace my old model PC for some time. Would but again if needed in the future.

Installed on an older desktop (HP 864N)

Was able to upgrade to Windows Vista Ultimate.

I use this as a media center/tivo all the time.

No performance issues at all.

zero problems.

Highly recommended.

I received my order in 3 days by USPS. The postman left them in my parcel box. I just grabbed the 12 inch box and out came the air bag packaging and my pristine new memory modules in their child-proof plastic casing. I wipped out my Kitchen Shears and cut the plastic quickly gave a quick look at the new modules. Soon, I was vacuuming out the Dell P4 1.8Ghz Pc to remove the dust in the tower. I already had the power removed and proceeded to remove the “old” Ram. The new 1G modules fit nicely and my PC is like Michael Phelps sucking down a million dolla bong hit. It’s Amazing and disgusting at the same time how my 6 yr old Dell PC just sucks that Ram down. The 1G modules made a total 2G ram run all my software very nicely. /Thanks Amazon !

Though the memory was exactly what I needed, the shipment of must of the people I have dealt with, online, have shipped much faster than Amazon. Other than that, no complaints here.
