I’ve had the original for almost 4 years, since Dyson first came out with “The Animal.” It filters just fine. So, why not 5 stars? Because I bought the wrong one, or the wrong one was sent. Three inch graphics don’t distinguish the various Dyson models very well. Make sure you’re got the right one before you open the package … or before you order for that matter.

This dealer was very prompt and insisted on replacing the first filter. Would definitely buy from him again.

The filter works phenomenally. Would have been easier just to wash the old one but having two expedites the process of cleaning one while working the other…

Purchased as a spare, so I don’t have to wait for washed filter to dry.

Nothing but a run around from Dyson and several other stores that you would think would quickly ship this item. Amazon shipped it in one day and my vacuum was back in service.
