I was not impressed with this item. Based on the features it advertised, I thought it would be like an ipod where you can select specific playlists or artists to listen to. I found out it basically just plays whatever is on there and there is no way to select any specific songs. Just think- if you put 8 gig of music on this thing… how long it would take to shuffle through the songs to try to find the one you want to listen to. Not worth it! The features it advertises are not user friendly or they are non-existent. I ended up returning it and am waiting for my refund.

After charging for the required amount of time the device started to
overheat and its housing broke open – returned the item for a refund.

I bought this to listen to during breaks between classes and to hold my French CD’s so I could study away from the computer. It works great so far.
I have all my music sorted into files and that acts like playlists. Drag and drop file system and doesn’t need extra software on Vista 64bit.
Comes with regular earbuds that have no cushioning. If you have smallish ear canals like I do, I suggest buying other earphones with this player.
8 gig holds all sorts of files. It also has an e-book function, which I don’t use because I hate e-books.
All in all great for what I use it for. However, if someone is spoiled by i-pods, then this may be a little too plain and a little more difficult to navigate. I know my kids can use it with no problem, so it should be fairly easy for any adult with a little mp3 player knowledge.

For the price, this is excellent to listen to tunes while exercising, walking or whatever. Easy to work and navigate, and would highly recommend.
