I really liked this product until I tried the DVD player. The DVD would play for about 20 minutes then would freeze up (stop playing); right out of the box. I would have to restart it and start over. I tried many different DVD’s. So I am returning it. I wanted a replacement / exchange but Amazon did not offer it; they only offered a refund. I went back to reorder immediately and the price had been raised. They also had a warning about issues with this product and that Amazon had haulted distribution of their stock because of returns on the product. The higher price was because it was not available from Amazon but from another supplier / company. This was to be my Christmas present with free shipping; I guess not now though. I am impressed with Amazon because they stopped selling their stock of this item once they realized it had an issue. That is a good business practice. Hopefully the return will go well.

Image quality and especially reception are good. DVD has all the functions one may need. However, there is an AV input but no AV output!? This means that this DVD player cannot be connected to a TV. Is this some sort of a joke
? Returned immediately…

Did not find a better device in the under $150 price range. Amazon.com, from whom I bought it, came through for me once again. Also plays DVDs and CDs, which is a handy feature between home power outages. An antenna adapter IS included, which allows me to use my permanant home outside antenna that brings in almost all over-the-air local channels. (That fact is contrary to my earlier report wherein I erroneously reported otherwise.)

I needed a small TV to replace my handheld analog TV. This TV is still small enough to put on my desk without taking up too much room. The picture is very clear and the sound is good. The included antenna is easily moved around to get a better digital reception.

Great product! The TV/DVD player and its accessories come neatly packed inside a canvas carrying case. It comes with a remote, antenna, car charger, AV cables, and an AC adapter. The unit was super-simple and intuitive to set up. Within just a few minutes, I had scanned my channels and was watching a crisp, clear picture on a local channel. I was delighted with both the speed and results of the channel scan — it picked up everything, and very quickly (much faster than on my “big” TVs). I then tried out a DVD. Again, it was very intuitive to figure out the setup and features. You really don’t even need the instruction book, although there is a well-written one included. You don’t need the remote either, for that matter, because all the functions you need are right there on the unit. Obviously, you would need the remote if you’re doing something from across the room, but with this type of product, you’re most likely sitting right there in front of it. The one criticism I have of the unit is that the quality of the DVD picture wasn’t quite up to par. It’s perfectly acceptable and viewable for my purposes (a backup unit in case of a power outage), but the picture wasn’t as great as I expected, given that the TV picture was really good. Overall, this unit exceeds my expectations and I’m delighted with it.
