Thsi item simply doesn’t work. It does not pick up even small crumbs. And even though it bends to get under items, the head is too thick to get under a couch. I rarely rate items, but this one is bad.

I picked this up at the store when my swiffer vaccuum died. They do not make it anymore – and I needed a quick electric broom to sweep up crumbs for my kids and the massive amount of golden retriever hair on a daily basis.
This has terrible suction. I am very disapoointed.

I bought this to do light cleaning on small areas such as carpeted steps, areas with lots of crumbs, etc. It did a good job on these, but the handle was so flimsy it was hard to use, and my dad somehow managed to break the lower part of the handle (the part directly attached to the sweeper), probably just by knocking it over. Too bad they didn’t make this product a bit more sturdy.

What this is great for is picking up crumbs, dust, lint, or any other small annoyance from either carpeting or bare floors. There’s a handy edge brush that knocks free stuff clinging to the place where the floor joins the wall. It’s also nice that the handle bends in the middle “at the touch of a button” so you can sweep under things without bending. Nicer still because it really works! It’s also light enough that you can carry it with you to clean up different parts of your house.
I also liked that they admitted (albeit in the manual) the battery should be replaced every year (or so) and provided instructions on how to do that.
All in all, this is a lousy every-day-vacuum but for quick cleanups this does a great job. Do not buy this as your first vac but definitely consider it as your second.

It will not replace a more powerful sweeper, but this product does a good job cleaning up little crumb messes. I have a cat and dog, with the brush design it picks up the hair great. I love it for my hard wood floors too. I use this product 2-3 times a day and I will use my regular sweeper every so often to get a deeper clean on the carpets. I think it’s a little pricey but works better than most. The best part no cord for my kids to suck up when they help out.
