EVGA 01G-P3-N981-TR GeForce 9800 GT 1GB DDR3 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card
I bought it so i could play some games and stuff now that i have a decent gaming pc.
I find its performance great for the price and its features are nice.
The reason i gave it only four stars it’s because it is huge! XD

In December of 2007 I built a Home Theater PC (HTPC). I specifically chose a motherboard with onboard graphics that claimed to support HD. After quite of long time troubleshooting and with the help of the members of the SageTV forums, I concluded that my problem had to lie with the graphics. I bought this, installed it and Poof! Magic. My HD problems, stutter, jerkiness, skipping and generally unwatchable, disappeared. The price is great for so much performance. Wish I had bought it sooner.

im building a multimedia pc MSI x58 platinum sli board with 6gb corsair 1333 ram running a 2.66 i7 processor and will be running 2 of these cards
my friend has a similar setup and two of these running sli is better than any single card out today and is also cheaper than any newer 1 gb card today that has fast ram. so i gave it 5 stars not to mention these cards run pretty cool for high prfmce video cards. so love it or not i think this will be the best card out there for a few years until im ready to update.

Not top of the line, but does the job with no issues. I play City of Heroes and EVE Online, and both games run without any problems.
(Please note: I’m running a duo core 3ghz processor on a ‘MSI P7N SLI 1333Mhz FSB mother board’ with 4 GB ram). An older mother board and processor might slow this video card down.
I think i payed about $230. when this graphics card came out, so the current price is great. 5 months so far and great perfomance.

I purchased two of this video card for my home gaming computer, you know, for SLI. They are fast, but be prepared, because they really put the things hot inside the computer’s case if you do not have enough ventilation. Also, the power requirements are high, so your PSU must match their needs. I had to put more fans and change my PSU in order to meet the requirements.
