I have started to see Fuji SD memory cards pop up in some stores. I also see a brand called Kingston. I know and trust Fuji as I have used their film for years and now own a Fuji digital camera. The Fuji cards tend to cost a bit more but that’s OK with me because I trust their brand.

I bought this as a starter memory card for a Christmas gift for a relative, and I’m happy with it. It seems fast enough to dump photos on without lag (there’s no holdup when taking rapid photos with a point/shoot.)
In an order to get some speed testing, I decided to put it in my Canon Powershot G10 and my SD780 IS to see how it would handle 15MB RAW files along with 720p video, respectively, and the card held up without any hiccups. If I were to make an educated guess, the card functions like a class 4 SDHC card or higher in speed.
The card’s a good starter card for a starter camera. I’m happy with it, and for the price, it can’t be beat.

I bought this card for my digital camera and it is great for me since I only take pictures occasionally and don’t require much memory, plus it was extremely cheap and easy to use.

So far, works great with my Fuji Finefix J28. Works pretty fast. I tried to download pictures with it inside the camera and with a card reader, works on both ways without any problem.
It has a slider switch if you want to protect your pictures from accidental erasure.
