Like others, I purchased the film that was “recommended” by Amazon when I bought the camera — and the film is the wrong format. The camera and the film came from two different vendors, so I don’t know how that will get resolved. It is not the film vendor’s fault that the wrong thing was recommended by Amazon.
The camera works as advertised, so I’m not gong to give it poor ratings because of a listing problem that was Amazon’s fault.

I agree with the review I just read describing how the camera is matched film that is incompatible with the camera. The camera was a gift and was unusable at the time. The film is hard to find so I had to order more for delivery, which took more time away from use during the holidays. Very frustrating. The product should be more clearly labeled with its film requirements and matched in photos accordingly.

This is a great camera but when we found it on Amazon, it showed regular Instax film packets as “Frequently purchased with this item.” So we ordered two packages of the film. But after the camera arrived we learned that this camera will only use the Instax Mini Film. And the photo’s are also much smaller than normal size (they’re a little over 2×3 inches).
I believe ads for this camera should make it more clear that the camera itself is not the only thing that is “mini,” the film and resulting photo’s are also mini!
