I received Garmin adapter, but it was not finished in manufacturing. It does not have the adapter to my garmin. No QA/QC at all.

I had the Garmin for a long time and the car charger cord simply died and so I had to replace it and was glad I was able to get it cheaper here!

The fact that every person looking at this Garmin speaker adapter is here to buy a replacement for their broken part is surely testament to an inherent design flaw. The fact that the part costs so much just adds insult to injury imho. I had tried to tape the tip back on for a while to delay purchasing a new one, but eventually that failed. Trying to get all the bits back together was a challenge.
If you do manage to find all the pieces when yours breaks (and it will break) , I think the reviewer who recommended going to radio shack or an auto parts store and buying a “y” adaptor is on to a great Macgyver fix. I’ll be trying this out myself rather than purchasing a new one.

The seller was right, it was exactly what I needed. I don’t think I should have needed this replacement if Garmin did the right thing. I like my Garmin but this was a week link(cord) in the product. This seller was A++++!

When my Garmin External Speaker with car adapter came apart I could not find a replacement adapter in any area store. Everyone told me it had been discontinued. I checked Amazon and sure enough there it was. I never realized how much I depended on my “Jill” that’s the name we have given out Garmin until she couldn’t function. Once I received my new adapter “Jill” came back to life and I could find my way more easily.
