After purchasing a new Garmin NUVI 760 which worked beautifully for days, I thought I would post how my unit also DIED – totally dead after I purchased a Garmin A/C adapter. The GPS unit worked perfectly for days. I plugged it in to charge overnight and it was completely dead. I also find it too coincidental that the thing was working fine until it was charged with (not an off-brand), but a Garmin A/C house charger. Sounds like others have had a similar problem. I have also experienced maping problems. Stores that have been gone for years, and new ones that should be known not there. The reviews do say Garmin is superior to Magellan and TomTom, but the jury may still be out on that one.

I have been very satisfied with the computer games/equiptment I have ordered from Amazon.com. When these products are not available locally they are generally always available at Amazon.com and are delivered promptly.

This is not for the Garmin Quest and Quest 2. That update will be out soon (the non-NT version).

I purchased the
Garmin unit from you and have been totally satisfied. However, the upgrade will not load into the unit. I think that the problem is with the program that came with the unit. It would not load into my computer which is a Mac. The original progam I think is for a PC and will not load.
Please send your remommendations. The upgrade is worthless the way things are now.
Thank You
