I cant tell the difference between these and the name brand ones- it does a great job and fits my hoover perfectly. I’ve used probably 10 of these over the last year or two- it really holds the dog dander.

I have an older Foldaway model – one of the first to come out, and this filter did not fit my vacuum! Maybe the newer models have a slightly smaller diameter oval in the filter cup, but mine was just a tiny bit too big as the filter wouldn’t fit. Considering this is about 1/2 the price of them in stores like Wal-mart, I should have known you get what you pay for. I threw it away and promptly bought Fabreeze scented filters by Hoover in Wal-mart for approx. $13. They’re more expensive, but at least they fit!! Don’t waste your money if you have an older model Foldaway vacuum.

After looking for a refill for my a long time and finally finding it on Amazon I wasn’t as pleased with the product. The product didn’t last as long as I expected. Don’t buy generic and stick to the hoover brand.

Seems to work fine. It fits my model. I don’t have any way to really compare it with my old filter since the old one had been on there for 5+ years. (Yeah, I know.)
I realize it’s a “generic” filter but I can’t tell any difference. Anyway, the price on these were pretty good and they seem to get the job done. I can’t really complain.
