Great board with a lot of overclocking features. It was a little tight to place the ram with my larger CPU fan, but it all worked out.

I am very sattisfied. Solid product. Sata connectors well located.
Be ware the IDE connector is odly located at the bottom of the board causing cable to obstruct air flow. Have not yet been able to install windos on Gigabyte Raid controller sata connectors. (minor flaws both)
Will still overclock and see what product delivers.

When I bought this board, I was apprehensive since this would be nearly one year old compared to other X58 boards. After researching hard I narrowed down to this board and the Asus P6T Deluxe. However chose this board on acount of my last bad experience with the Asus 8N SLI premium, which recently dumped me.
Lemme say I am really enjoying this board with my i7 920 @ 3.8 Ghz ROCK STEADY with a Corsair H50 watercooler. I must say this is a much better choice as compared to some of the more expensive deals available. I do miss the USB 3.0 support. But then this has just about started to happen and eSATA will offset this to a great extent.
Buy this board if you want a reliable mobo propelling you in the realms of High End !!!
Cheers

I’ve had this for a month now, had no problems, after going through so much hassle with the EVGA boards and them choosing not to work with certain Quad Core processors I was glad to get this board working right away. Of course I had to go into the BIOS settings and figure out that USB Keyboards are disabled by default, which makes no sense to me considering most are USB, but enabling them fixed this problem and have not had any issues since.

Just set up my system with the UD5, Great board, everything works, EXCEPT…
I can’t get the rear audio to play on my 5.1 system (5 speakers, 1 subwoofer)
I have a set of soundworks 2500. I tried for an hour, and the rear speakers would always show up as side speakers. What I finally did was call it a 7.1 system and disable the the side speakers.
