Purchased this cd player along with an audio book cd. Didn’t know the audio cd was in MP3 format until I read it on the back cover (wasn’t mentioned on the website). The package for this cd player does not state that it can read MP3 format. Just to be sure, I checked around the web and saw a couple articles stating that it can not.
Gave it 3 stars because it looks nice, but am returning it unopened and buying a different model that can read MP3 format.

Firstly I can’t imagine anyone but me wanting one of these antiquated things. But if you do, find another. Upon inserting a CD and hitting the Play button, the device starts with the sound level at its maximum. You must start pressing the volume button immediately in order to protect your hearing. By the way, the buttons work, when they want to. You can actually hear the sound of the cd rotating round and round, or some strange noise caused by interference. Enough said? Great!

Very nice is most areas except battery life and portability. Does not have an arm or belt strap so you have to put it in a bag or pocket while you walk. Battery seems to last Max 1 week.
