I spent $34.95 for a cool looking case to protect my phone from nicks and scratches. What did I get instead? I got a $34.95 case that left deep scratches into my 3 day old iphone 3G S. Seriously avoid this case if you care about preserving your phone in anyway. My 3 day old iphone is now as marked up as my previous iphone which is a year old.
Avoid at all costs!

I have used this case for over 4 months now, and I have received several complements. It adds a bit of elegance to the iPhone and provides adequate protection from falls and slips. The back of the case is real leather making it easy to hold and grasp. I can use all of my docks (an alarm clock iPod radio, Griffin Speakers, lighter adapter) and accessories just fine without taking out of the case.
The only downside of this case is the longevity I think it will have. the silver rim has already started to flake a bit on the corners and in a few more months I’m afraid it will start looking a bit shoddy.
I recommend this case, but keep in mind this probably won’t last in pristine condition over a year.

What can I say that other reviewers haven’t already mentioned? It looks very sharp, provides good protection, doesn’t interfere with any of the ports or buttons, and has a very nice feel in the hand. I couldn’t be more pleased.

I have been through a number of iPhone cases, and I think I have finally found the perfect case. It is nice looking, and protects the phone not only from scratches, but also drops!!! I will be ordering another for my son – he loves it too!

I love the nice leather touch of the back cover. I’ve used it for about 2 months and it hasn’t slipped from my hand even once. I’ve accidentally pushed my iphone off the top of my parked car once on to the road and nothing happened to the phone or the cover – not a scratch! I could’ve been just lucky, but still can’t help mentioning it here!
The chrome lining highlights all around. It runs around all openings like the charging port, volume/silent mode controllers and the camera. I have felt no problems in accessing any of the controls. In fact, the edges at openings help guide my finger to the proper control even when I’m not looking at my phone! There is no problem whatsoever in call clarity, signal reception or any other kind of obstruction. The lining joining the two pieces together at the back gives a kind of chic look!
Over all, I’ve got many ‘wows’ from friends and colleagues on this cover!
