This battery doesn’t work at all with the E1505, I kept getting blue screen of death and freezes. It didn’t fit perfectly either, slightly different. I have all the latest drivers and bios and didn’t have any problems before using this battery. I wanted to love it but no such luck. I’ve sent it back for a refund

Great battery. Proper fit. Long lasting 6600mah rated. Lasts about 5 hours in my Dell 1501.

I bought this battery about 4 months ago as a replacement for my dell 1501 notebook. It works great and holds a 2-3 hour charge. Great replacement! You can’t beat the price either.

Contrary to the product details, I found out the hard way that this battery does not work with the Dell Inspiron E1505.
After installing it, I received the following error: “Warning: The model number for the primary battery cannot be determined. This will prevent any battery present from charging. Please insert a Dell Battery for the best system optimization.”
I had to return the battery after waiting 1 1/2 weeks to get it. Do not order for Inspiron E1505, but it may work well for the other systems – I can only comment for the E1505.

This worked perfect and the seller got this out ASAP!! Battery life was like 4 or 5 hours!!
