Previously, this item was described as a dual-link cable and had a photo which corresponded with that. But this item is NOT dual-link, it is only single-link.
I contacted BargainCell in early January of the situation and asked for a refund. They changed the photo and the description shortly after I sent my email. But I have not gotten a response from them.
To be fair, it is a good price for even a single-link cable if that is what you want and if that is what you get. But I have not tried it out since I was ordering a dual-link.
As of this review’s writing, the description is still not entirely correct for a single-link cable.

the cable has worked very nicely. it fits in the monitor and video card very well and tightens up nice and snug. for the price it is hard to beat.

I ordered this cable a couple of weeks ago, and the photo showed a full 24 pin to 24 pin cable, and nothing in the description to state that it was only 18 pin. So, I ordered it, believing I would get the item that was shown. Lo and behold, I received an 18 pin cable.
I promptly contacted the seller before leaving a review explaining the situation (on Jan 8, 09) to which I have still received no reply, and now looking at the photo, apparently updated to show the cable actually being sold, it does show the 18 pin cable. So, of course, who will believe who if i dispute it now? Poor service, BargainCell. With cheap prices come cheap service, I suppose. I will do my best to avoid this seller in the future.
I honestly have no review for the cable itself, I’ve left it in the package awaiting a reply from the seller, to which it seems I won’t receive one. I guess I’ve wasted ten bucks on other junk, so no big loss because of the low price. It isn’t worth the hassle to pursue it any further.

I bought this DVI cable for my daughter’s 17-inch LCD monitor. I did not think they were worth buying when the price was so expensive a couple of years ago. Now they are very cheap. They work great with my daughter’s monitor.

I purchased this cable to compliment my new 22in widescreen acer LCD. There was an immediate difference in clarity and color compared to the old vga cables. I am very happy with this purchase.
