The seller had to send me two because I could not get my PC to recognize the first one. The second one I got has great quality, both video and audio. Mine is to record aerial video on my rc plane so I don’t care to stick it in my pocket or anything. I recommend it.

I use this thing to keep tabs in my house when the plumber or electrician is in the house. I has good video and sound quality in a very small package. Plus it records about two hours worth of video which is about all you can really look over without falling asleep.

IMHO this is a worthless piece of electronics. First it does not come with memory so you need to buy a microcard which is about $10-22 extra. The directions are almost wothless. It has a small DVD with alot of un-needed extras and a pain to find the actual manual which is all of 7 pages half of them warnings. As far as being a spy camera? What a joke!! When it is operating you have 4 blue lights flashing on the back. If you cover the lights with tape there is still a white plastic spacer all around the middle that flashes. You are not able to cover this up because the mic is built into this piece. It only works well in bright light and it does not record voices well as the lens faces forward and the mic faces up. Also it is not very Vista compatable.

I bought this camera not expecting a high end HD camcorder, but I expected a steady picture. Unless you place it on a table top with nothing affecting its balance, you get choped up video which is not viewable. decent audio though. I would rate the audio a 2.5 out of 5 stars. if you plan to hide this camera in a well lit area for servalance, its a good buy, but if you plan to move around don’t waste your time. also hard to operate. bad directions. good luck
