Just got the machine first use, it worked well on carpet. The down side is the Amazon version is lower cost, but has no bare floor tools, be prepared to invest another $20 to $25 for the tools.

The Hoover performed up to expectations, exceeding the competition (Bissell) in liquid handling (filling, emptying and cleaning) by a wide margin. Well worth the price.

I bought this for my daughter & family. So far no complaints. I researched reviews and decided on this model.

Overall I am pleased with this product. It is a good value. It does not quite live up to the hype of 5 star reviews. Don’t get me wrong, it does as good of a job as any other cleaner I have used but there are still some stains that will not come out. I do recommend this product without hesitation.

it does good job. (don’t expect it can be as good as the professional carper cleaner..) Some terribly stain might not be got out of it.. but generally it can make the carpet much cleaner.
