The vacuum seemed like it would fit my needs, but I will never know. It’s sitting, repacked with all the parts and screws and paperwork inside the box – along with the extra bags I purchased – waiting for UPS to pick it up and deliver it back to AMAZON. The vacuum did not work. It has a beater brush – agitator – which is supposed to spin when the vacuum is in carpet position. Guess what? You got it. The bar did not spin. When I followed the directions to see if perhaps it wasn’t set up right, the belt – which was supplied and in the machine when I got it – didn’t connect with the rest of the machine. The machine also rattled like crazy and did not feel solid. I would have let that go if the machine worked. Big disappointment. So now I wait for UPS to pick up, Amazon to get it, and credits to come back to me. What an unnecessary hassle. Surprised because Amazon usually is a lot better than this.

I had this vacuum cleaner for 1 week and the carpet/floor switch broke off when I was turning it from floor to carpet. I liked the way the vacuum picked up items from hardwood floors, but now the switch is broken. My husband thought he might be able to take the vacuum apart and try and fix it, but after a quick assessment, he decided that it wouldn’t be easy. I could have used the vacuum on the floors in the carpet mode I suppose, but I decided to return it and look for another vacuum. It needs to have a better switch design.

Excellent Vacuum! This product picks up wonderfully and leaves the carpet looking clean and fresh, not frayed and grooved by the beater-bar like some cheaper vacuums out on the market today.

What can I say? The machine arrived well within the specified time. I took it out of the box, put the handle on it, and plugged it in. Every thing is doing a great job, plenty of suction, and the self propelled part is a blessing.

Just like a previous review I received an open box, though mine contained a defective unit. It took me 5 minutes online to notified Amazon, who promptly cross shipped another (unopened) unit which I received in 2 days. The new unit works great and like so many others who have posted, not having the mess of a bag-less unit is great. Would defiantly recommend. Thank You Amazon for the swift response.
