The software installation was not easy…took too long and had too many advertisements along the way. Also, had to disable my Norton 360 protection to install this software. As a result, could not get back this protection until I contacted Norton. There may be a software conflict. I miss my HP 3820 (which I had to discard because of a cartridge jam).

I’m almost sure that I already reviewed this. I was very pleased with the service I received from the seller: she answered my questions and sent it out posthaste. Thanks, Madeline Ashley

I agree with most who state the ink doesn’t last long. But that’s how the OEMs are making printers, with tinyteeny ink cartridges and you spend a fortune to replace it.
However, my complaint to HP direct was that the software after it’s installed, there’s a “fatal error” message that pops up on the screen every minute. It impedes the printing. Whoever wrote the software didn’t make it compatible with WinXP and firewalls. I yearn for the days of the dot matrix printers when we didn’t have all these crazy problems and the ink lasted a long time.
Unfortunately there are only about 4 major OEM printers in the market and they dominate, we are at their mercy. I’m looking for an older model printer in good refurb’d condition because I don’t have patience with these newer printers.

Simply, this is one of the worst printers I’ve ever owned. I’m done with HP. Every printer from them I’ve owned is terrible. HP should stand for Horrible Products!!
