The product works fine and works as we expected it to. However we cannot get Amazon, the Vendor that sold it or HP to to warranty the machine. There was a part broken when we unpacked the machine and we cannot get anyone to help us with it. We are wondering what would have happened if the machine didn’t work what we would have done. We have called Amazon, the Vendor, Hewlet Packard and we cannot get anyone to help us. In particular the vendor who sold the machine keeps putting us on hold and no one ever picks up after that. We have tried calling Amazon but they cannot help us either. I do not believe we will ever buy such a product from Amazon online anymore do to the warranty issues involved. I believe we will stick to buying movies and books from amzaon.

This printer is super fast. by the time you get the printer to pick up your prints it’s done. Only one minor complaint- the printer sounds like a jet engine when printing (it only lasts a minute but still). Great for a shared office printer but I wouldn’t put in a private office. This is not a desk printer. Would be 5 stars if it wasn’t so loud.
HP is having a rebate of $[...] thru end of 2009, so you’ll want to look into that. Amazon price is lowest and sign up for amzaon prime to get free shipping.

I reviewed the related product, the HP P4014n LaserJet Printer. See my customer review there, which is a very similar product, where I posted a very favorable review.
The only real differences between the two printers are the front panel and a small difference in print speed. The 4015n has a front panel that can be used to enter a passcode to print out jobs that the user doesn’t want anyone else to see or pick up accidentally. The 4015n is also slightly faster, at 52 ppm compared to the 4014n ant 45 ppm. In a big office where people are picking up the wrong printouts I could see the need, but I didn’t see a reason in my small office to pay the $200 premium for 4015n. I have been very happy with the 4014n.
