Excellent printer for home, small, and medium offices.
Especially with networking build into the printer.

For my home-office this printer works great. The initial printing gets out real fast, faster than any printer I’ve ever had.

I must admit I just love this printer. some other said it was very noisy and it is while printing put gets quite a few seconds after last page out.if you want a printer with less noise than get a 2 page per minute printer but for a printer that spits out paper as this one expect some noise. I would recommend this printer highly

This printer replaces a HP 2100M that doesn’t work well with the newer computers without those humongous parallel/serial port cables. I have always loved the trouble-free service the 2100 has given me and will some day figure out how to make my 2100 “play well’ with the more modern computers.
The P2035N was a snap to set up even though the directions supplied were at best minimal. The easy to follow directions were on the supplied CD, though, so I had it up and running in about 20 minutes. Most people have said how loud this printer is, and won’t disagree. However, several have said it has a quiet mode which cuts the decibles to about half and only slows down the printing minimally.
I found it quite easy to network all my home computers to this printer. I thought it would be a magicical, mystical experience but it took a bit of thinking on my part. I used the install disk on each computer I wanted to network and they all printed to it with no difficulty at all. I’m not a networking genius but it worked perfectly, the first time.
Print quality is excellent! Very crisp and very fast. I like the fact the paper tray holds about 250 sheets. I don’t expect to have to refill it often. I was told mine has a ’starter’ cartridge that will print maybe 800 copies. I did some shopping online and ordered a replacement, compatible with this printer, for just $35. An OEM HP cartridge is about $90, so it was a no brainer what to order. Since a regular cartridge will print over 3000 pages, I figure it’s a big savings over the cost of ink for a regular ink jet printer. Ink jet copy smears while laser doesn’t- a definate plus for me.
Since I’ve always had exceptional luck with HP products, I don’t hesitate in recommending this printer. There’s a nice discount at some office supply stores plus HP has a promotion of an additional $50 off if you return any printer when buing this one. So, the price is great, the printer works beautifully, and life is good. Drop what you’re doing and get one of these just as soon as you can!

This is a nice printer for a small office that does not require a lot of bells and whistles. HP has made the setup pretty painless. Strongly recommend setting quiet mode unless the printer is in its own room. In normal mode the printer is very fast but sounds like a jet while it is printing. In quiet mode it is plenty fast and much quieter. More like your typical ink jet printer.
