I was pretty dissatisfied with this product so I wrote a review in a letter to my son so he could put it on the internets. He told me how he sends all of these reviews of his on the internets where they take them to the Amazon and everybody reads them there. Things sure have changed. When I was young, the Amazon was still a jungle inhabited by savages and cannibals. Now people go there to buy pretty near anything, I guess.
So my kids kept telling me that I needed to get one of them computers so that I could “keep in touch” and “use the ‘E’ bay.” I don’t see what the big deal about these things is. It doesn’t seem to do much. I plugged it in and everything. It just sits over there in the corner going “mmmmmmmmm” and taking up space. I guess it works pretty well as a paper weight. I tried using it as a door stop for while but my wife tripped over the cord and broke her nose. I tried suing the company but apparently they aren’t liable for that.
If you press the button on the front a bunch of lights go on and it makes a “wwwrrr wrrrr”ing noise. I’m not quire sure what the point of that is. It has a pretty nifty cup holder on the front that comes out when you press a button. That broke off in about a week though. Stupid flimsy Japanese piece of trash. Can’t even make a decent cup holder. I don’t really know how this is supposed to help me keep in touch with my kids. It has a mini typewriter that came with it but there’s no place to put the paper. Pretty useless if you ask me. What’s the point of a typewriter with no paper? It came with a funny clicky thingy that looks a bit like the garage door opener only with a cord and no clip on it. I haven’t figured out what that’s for yet. It came with a couple of CDs but they don’t play any music. I guess the stupid Japanese company forgot to put it on. It even came with a TV but the dang thing won’t get any picture. I don’t see what all the rage is about these things. It hasn’t made my life any easier. Might as well have bought a humming cinder block. I think they just pack in all those goodies like the TV, CDs and typewriter to draw your attention away from how stupid and pointless the computer actually is.

Windows Vista is a nightmare. Nothing from my old computer works on it. Would never buy a Vista-equipped product again.

Not a good computer at all. Seems that all of the card drivers are malfunctioned and so it takes forever to download pictures to the computer from your cards. I went to the place I bought the computer and the guy there used his own card to see how long it would take on the two exact models he had up there and the same thing happened so he stated that it must be an issue with this model. Of course the people at HP do not speak English and give me no answers to solve the issue and it has been 45 days since I bought the computer. Do not buy this model. Buyer beware. I am a photographer so my life depends on the card slots to download fast. Took 6 hours for 170 Low Res. Photos to download.

I got this for my wife a few months ago and she loves it. Not the fastest machine out…but for the money its a decent deal!!!

I have had this computer for one month and I love everything about it. Vista is very easy to use and very similar to Windows XP which is what I previously had. This is a great computer.
