It’s not a computer to brag about. the memory is great the space is good, I still am not a fan of VISTA. I bought this so I could watch blu ray movies, I should of bought a PS3 instead. All in all it’s good For The Kids-peace

This review is based mostly on the fact that this computer has Vista as its OS.
This operating system is nothing short of terrible. Completely not user friendly, won’t work correctly with my software (mostly music recording and editing), and won’t even allow the help files.
I will be having a friend either build one after I get my 85 percent refund or have the XP operating system put in.
Read alot about this windows system before you invest. I didn’t believe it could be THIS bad…. it is.

I recently purchased the M9520f, the system was fairly easy to set up. HP has the worst Customer Service Department, spent 5 hours on the phone to India what a waste of time. Tried to get Lightscribe Disc program to work they could not offer any help at all. Great computer as long as you don’t want to use Lightscribe

I thought I was making a good decision buying this desktop, I have an HP laptop that has not given me any trouble and with the specifications that this new machine has it should blow away a 6 year Gateway desktop running XP. But it has been a disappointment. It took me almost half a day to create my own recovery discs. I ran into numerous error messages trying to use a new DVD burner, oh yea the LightScribe program doesn’t work. I followed the instructions to order recovery discs but the website that I was directed to would allow me to download a few misc drivers but nothing for recovery discs. I am dreading the tech support call to India. You would not believe the amount of garbage software aka trial software especially from HP.

The CPU works fine, but the vista software is not compatable with other hardware items that I have, so am force to buy new hardware that is compatable with vista. Vista is a big rip off. Vista should be banned.
