My husband purchased the HP Photosmart A826 for me as a Christmas gift. I have had problems with it from the start. All of the problems are with loading the paper. It doesn’t matter if you put 1 or 100 sheets of photo papar in the little bugger it ALWAYS says paper not loaded correctly or that there is no paper loaded. I got so mad at it today, I purposefully threw it on the floor and broke it! My birthday is in 4 days… hope I get a smaller, less fancy, paper loading friendly, EPSON or Cannon photo printer!

Product arrived on time, but has never been used. All seems to be O.K

I would love to write a positive review for this product – if it didn’t have so many problems. It is junk. It did work well for the first 6 months we owned it, but now it usually prints out the photos with strange colors. We have tried cleaning the ink and replacing the ink, and it still has problems.
Sometimes putting in a new ink cartridge will cause it to work for 5-10 pictures, and then it has problems again.
The ink is too expensive to only work for 5-10 pics.
It’s a nice looking product and fits well in a tight area, so it’s a shame that it’s not reliable.

Typical bad HP software that crops and chops photos from the way they were set up, cutting off ears, tops of heads, etc. from the way they they appear on the computer.
